John Obi has over thirty-two (32) years of banking experience spanning banking operations, commercial and corporate banking, at notable Banks in Nigeria. He retired as Executive Director, Corporate Bank, Fidelity Bank Plc in 2015. He is a strategist, result-oriented and highly skilled in conflict resolution.
He holds a HND (Upper Credit) in Accounting and an MBA in Financial Management from the Institute of Management Technology, Enugu and Lagos State University respectively. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Honorary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
He has attended various executive training such as Negotiation Strategies for Managers, Strategies for Creating Shareholder Value, Business Marketing Strategy at Kellogg School of Management, Leading Change and Organizational Renewal at Graduate School of Stanford University.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of Theophile Global Resources Limited and also serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Jubilee Life Mortgage Bank Plc.
