Steve Omali

Steve Omali is an accomplished IT professional with extensive expertise in IT governance, data management, data governance, IT operations, and infrastructure, with a strong focus on driving digital transformation through data-driven strategies. 

A graduate of Geography with a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Steve has cultivated a unique blend of technical and leadership skills. He is also an executive graduate of the International Institute of Management and the London School of Business Administration. Over the years, he has further enriched his expertise by attending numerous professional IT and management courses. 

Steve began his career in the pension industry in 2006 with First Alliance Pension and Benefits, where he became Acting Head of IT. He later joined ARM Pension Managers as the IT Regional Head for the North, subsequently advancing to Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure. Steve made significant contributions to the company’s growth in these roles, particularly by implementing innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance data-driven decision-making processes. 

A member of the Nigerian Computer Society, Steve is actively engaged in professional and social circles. He holds several prestigious certifications, including: 

ISO 27001: 2013 Lead Implementer, Certified Data Governance Analyst, Project Management Essentials, ITIL V3, Risk Management, Cybersecurity.

With a strong commitment to leveraging technology and data, Steve remains a key advocate for aligning IT operations with business goals, ensuring that organizations stay agile and competitive in today’s dynamic digital landscape.
