Joyce Adaora Obi has over twenty five (25) years banking experience spanning banking operations, commercial and retail banking, service management, human capital management and regulatory compliance risk management at notable banks in Nigeria.
She holds an LL.B. (Hons), BL, M.A, MBA from University of Benin, Nigerian Law School Victoria Island Lagos, University of Jos and Nnamdi Azikiwe University respectively, in addition to being an Alumni of Columbia Business School, New York, USA.
She has attended various executive trainings in different parts of the world such as High Impact leadership course in the United States, Executing Breakthrough Strategies at Colombia Business School, USA; Advance Program in Human Resources Management, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA); Strategic Human Resources Planning, Ross School of Business, Michigan, USA; Technology Driven Services in the 21st Century & beyond, Lisbon, Portugal; Global Banking Trends, Mumbai, India; AML & Financial Crime Conference, Las Vegas, USA and others.
She was a General Manager and the Chief Compliance Officer of a Bank for over three years, a position she occupied with the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria and honourably resigned from her appointment in Sept 2017
