Adetunbi Ashaye

Adetunbi, an astute banker, pension fund specialist and a seasoned professional in the financial industry, with over 22 years experience in operations, people management and team collaboration, started his career in 2000 as an Operations Executive in First Bank Nigeria Plc. He moved to First Pension Custodian Nigeria Ltd as a pioneer staff in 2005 where he served the organization in various capacities spanning Reconciliation, Contribution Management, Trade, Process & Settlements and Human Capital Management. He later worked with Access Pension Fund Custodian in 2022 as Head Payments & Settlements, a position he held until joining Fidelity Pension Managers Ltd as Group Head, Operations.

Tunbi holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Microbiology from University of Ibadan and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with specialization in Human Resources & Organization Behavior from Olabisi Onabanjo University. He is a member of the Portfolio Management Institute and a Certified Professional in Human Resources-International.

He has attended various leadership training programmes in Lagos Business School (LBS), International Faculty of Finance (IFF), UK, Phoenix Training, UK and the Euromoney Financial Training on Pension Custody.

Tunbi is a music aficionado and an ardent lover of poetry.
