Consequently, the Management Team of Fidelity Pension Managers Limited is an essential component of its governance and operational structure. This team is responsible for analyzing the Company’s goals and objectives and also implements and drives the strategies our employees require to achieve success. Members of this team individually and collectively ensure that expectations and goals are clear, conflicting priorities are addressed and readjusted as needed, objectives and goals are being monitored, met and/or exceeded.
The composition of the Management Team reflects general and specific legislative and regulatory requirements for companies and pension administrators, applicable corporate governance recommendations as well as internal standards. Our experienced team therefore includes the brightest players with strategy, finance, investment, operations, compliance, marketing, audit, risk, information technology and legal capabilities. Donald Onuoha
Managing Director/CEO
Donald Onuoha is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
He started his professional career as a Business Development Manager with DubCom Limited in October 2004, from where he joined ARM Pension Managers (PFA) Limited in April 2006. He worked with ARM Pension Managers as a Team Lead and thereafter rose to the position of Regional Sales Manager East, a position he led up till September 2017. Donald then got an appointment with Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL Pensions) as Regional Manager, South-South in September 2017 and continued in that role until he joined Fidelity Pension Managers.

Uloaku Ekwegh

Uloaku Ekwegh was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003, having obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus in 2001. She subsequently obtained her Master of Laws from the University of Lagos in 2008, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Nigeria (ICSAN) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK (Nigeria Branch).
She started her post-NYSC professional career with Lanke Odogiyon Chambers, Kaduna in 2004, before joining the Law Union, Lagos in 2007. She was with the Law Union till September 2011 before leaving for the UAC of Nigeria Plc, where she handled multiple tasks as the Contracts and Intellectual Property Manager – a position she held for about eight years.Prior to joining Fidelity Pension Managers, she worked as a Legal / Governance consultant for KNN Corporate Services Limited, where she provided legal advisory, company secretarial and corporate governance services.
Uloaku is skilled in corporate governance, intellectual property, corporate restructuring(mergers, acquisitions etc) company secretarial functions, real property transactions, information and communications technology law, contract documentation, arbitration, and legal, tax & statutory compliance.She holds a certificate in corporate governance & board evaluation from ICSAN and another from the Institute of Management Consultants.She has also written several articles on various business - related issues ranging from corporate governance to legal compliance.

Vitalis Ike
Group Head, Finance & Admin
Mr. Vitalis Ike is an accounting graduate from the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State. He is also an associate of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He has over fifteen years’ experience in financial services. He worked with Belfry Investment and Securities Limited between 2002 and 2008 where he doubled as both company accountant and manager overseeing administration, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
He joined the services of Fidelity Pension Managers Limited as a Senior Pension Executive, in charge of Investment Research & Analysis in August 2008. A position he held until December 2012, when he was appointed to oversee the activities of the Finance and Administration Department.

Michael Nwosu
Chief Compliance Officer
Michael Nwosu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Abia State University, and a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 2001 and has nearly twenty years of post-call experience. He had stints as an associate at the law firm of C. C Obianyanwu & Co and the National Human Rights Commission, as well as the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Legal and Constitutional Matters, before joining the Pension Industry.
He worked with First Alliance Pension and Benefits Limited (now ARM Pension Managers) and FUG (now Veritas Glanville) Pensions Limited before joining Fidelity Pension. Up until his appointment as Chief Compliance Officer he was Head, MicroPension, where he had the responsibility of implementing the Company’s MicroPension strategy and overseeing the entire MicroPension architecture.

Chuka Nnabuife
Group Head, Risk Management
Chuka Nnabuife holds a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from the Federal Polytechnic, Bida; a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University, UK and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the Birmingham City University, UK.
He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Management Accountant United Kingdom (CIMA), an Associate Chartered Certified Accountants United Kingdom (ACCA), and a Certified Information System Auditor, (CISA).
He started his professional career as an Audit Senior with Adi Ekwenugo & Co (Chartered Accountants) before working with the Coscharis Group. He briefly served as the Financial Controller in Resources Intermediaries Limited before joining Intercontinental Bank (later Access Bank) where he worked in the Internal Audit Department. He also worked as a Project Manager with J. O. Adidi & Co (Chartered Accountants).
While in the UK, he worked with the Entrepreneurship Project sponsored by the Birmingham City University and as a Financial and Management Consultant with Heritage Accounting Services. Upon his return to Nigeria, he worked as an Application Support Team Member with CWG Plc. and Financial Consultant with Manna Microfinance Bank before joining Fidelity Pension Managers.

Fatai Sobowale
Group Head, Internal Audit & Control
Fatai Sobowale holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, having qualified in the year 2010.
He started his professional career with the firm of Jimoh Abass & Co as an Audit Officer, from where he joined the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN). He worked in various capacities in the Power Holding Company before joining Rotimi Olulenu & Co (Chartered Accountants) as an Audit Senior. He was in Rotimi Olulenu & Co until he joined Fidelity Pension Managers in June 2013 as an internal Auditor within the Internal Audit & Risk Management Group.
He was later transferred to the Compliance Department and acted as the Acting Chief Compliance Officer from July, 2018 till his appointment as Head, Internal Audit and Control.

Augustine Ejola
Group Head, Investment
Mr. Augustine Ejola holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the Lagos State University Ojo, Lagos and has over 15 years hands-on experience in Financial Advisory, Accounting, Stockbroking Operations, Investment Research and Securities Trading with a solid background in bond market strategy, portfolio management and execution.
He was the Head, Strategic Advisory Services of Alpha Morgan Capital Advisory Partners Limited, before that, he was in the Securities Trading & Corporate Finance Department of Planet Capital Limited where he was involved in various forms of Corporate Finance and Financial Advisory transactions. As a senior member of the fixed income/equities team, Augustine had an important role in the development and implementation of fixed income strategy across the team’s product set.
He was also Chief Investment Officer/COO for PML Securities Company Limited, where he was in charge of the seamless execution of the company’s operation. Before then he was Head, Financial Advisory and Securities trading at Strategy & Arbitrage Limited where he was responsible for the management the proprietary fund of the firm.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and a Level 2 Student of the Certified Financial Analyst Institute (CFA).
